2021 Nissan Altima Trim Levels
Available in five trim levels: S, SV, SR, SR-VC-Turbo and SL, the Altima seats four or more passengers comfortably. It's equipped with a standard 2.5-liter inline-4 cylinder engine that delivers 188 horsepower. This is paired with a continuously variable transmission. A 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that makes 280 lb-ft and 248 horsepower is optional on the SR-VC Turbo trims.
Nissan Altima S
As the base level, the Nissan Altima S trim is well equipped with cloth upholstery, automatic emergency braking, four USB ports, remote start, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, keyless entry and Bluetooth connectivity.
Nissan Altima SV
Starting with the SV trim level, the Nissan Altima includes standard driver-assistance features. Known as ProPILOT Assist, this hands-on driving assistant is designed to help drivers during stop and go traffic and on long highway drives. It uses a front sensor and front-facing camera that combines the Steering Assist and Intelligent Cruise Control technologies to help the vehicle remain a safe distance from others and to stay in its lane.
This trim level also adds 17-inch wheels, active safety features, cloth seats, remote start with climate conditioning, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate controls and heated front seats.
Nissan Altima SR
The Nissan Altima SR is a sportier version of the base model. As a result, the manufacturer offers an additional engine option: the 2.0-liter turbo-four. This trim level also features paddle shifters to engage the continuously variable transmission (CVT), 19-inch wheels, a stiffer steering wheel and uprated rear shocks.
Nissan Altima SR-VC Turbo
As the top tier trim, the SR-VC Turbo offers the more powerful engine: a 2.0-liter turbo-four cylinder. It also features 19-inch wheels, leather upholstery, a moonroof, power-adjustable and heated front seats, premium Bose audio system, leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, a surround-view camera system and a bevy of driver-assist features courtesy of the ProPILOT Assist package.
Nissan Altima SL
Choosing the Nissan Altima SL means enjoying leather upholstery, remote start with climate conditioning, heated front seats, active safety features, a premium audio system, dual-zone climate controls, 17-inch wheels, driver assistance systems, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel.
Safety
Not only is the Nissan Altima equipped with standard safety features that simply aren't offered by other mid-size sedans, but it also received "Good" ratings in all of its crash tests from the IIHS. A rearview camera, stability and traction control systems and forward collision warnings with automatic emergency braking are all included as standard equipment. All-wheel drive is also an option on every trim level which is designed to help drivers navigate inclement weather more safely.
